Build Guitars, playing guitars, and reading

I wanted an electric guitar to play like my father did an acoustic guitar.  My father died when I was 16 years so that sort of brought a lot of my dreams to a stand still. Since we had no money to purchase an electric guitar, i decided to build one. With the help of relatives to acquire parts, and the use of my uncles workshop, i cut the wood to build ( mocking a Fender Telecaster) A cream baby which i call "The Ladybug". Loved it and play it to this day  I wanted to building something that was not only pleasant to the eye but also effective to the user. I still have my ladybug at home and play it whenever i go home in Belize to relax. That required much reading to research for parts and understanding the 'why' behind the Telecaster.  It was part of my dream coming true. I have more guitars in my head to build! As soon as I can earn enough do so!
